Week 24 “ Alcatraz Prison”

Trapped.

Still not over being framed, I sit down on the cold prison floor. I have to say, this is the toughest thing I have experienced, locked away in a dark and lonely prison cell.

I feel so empty. I can only sit and wait one more year until my sentence is finished. Frustrated and bored, I want to escape but how can I? I hate this food, my bed, my room. This is definitely torture.

In this prison cell I make up my mind; I am going to escape but deep down I know I can’t; I am trapped.

Week 22 “Violin, yellow, swept, eaten, airplane”

The sweet sound of a violin filled my ears. I felt like it swept all my worries away. I relaxed my lounger and sipped my refreshing drink as an airplane flew past the corner of my eye.

Nothing was better than relaxing on a sunny beach in Hawaii.
‘Drip, drip’ it started to rain. I quickly went inside with my headphones on both sad and disappointed. The rain didn’t want to go without a fight and there was nothing to do about it.

After I had eaten I lay back onto my bed and opened my precious yellow treasure box. My holiday was ruined but my treasures were still safe.

Week 17 “the staircase to the sky”

The last thing I remembered was mum kissing me good night. The sun shone into my eyes so I sat up. What happened, why was I on a beach? In front of me I saw a staircase wrapped in flowers leading to the soft blue sky. As I stood up my feet sank into the warm golden sand.

I edged closer to the shiny marble staircase, afraid, but anxious to explore at the same time. Risk everything or have the experience of a lifetime? I stepped onto the cold marble staircase to the sky and suddenly I was back in my bedroom. It was a just a dream.

Week 16 “.......suddenly…….”

It was an ordinary day and Sophie was taking an early jog. The birds were chirping and all the families were asleep.
Out of the silence she hears a bark becoming louder and louder and suddenly “Ow!” Sophie screamed like someone had stabbed a knife in her leg so she turned around. What happened did the dog bite her? It didn’t actually hurt but Sophie’s face was ghostly pale from shock. It didn’t hurt that bad but blood stained her white pants and the blood was starting to dry. Sophie warily limped home; scared and very anxious.
